  Family-run gem of a hotel  - Initially had hoped for Cervinia but so pleased to have found space in this lovely hotel. Just a couple of kilometres down the valley from Valtournenche, a lovely ski resort... read more that links nicely to Cervinia.
The hotel was fantastic, Marco and his parents are brilliant hosts, so welcoming and positive. They run a superb operation. The hotel ski bus every morning takes all hassle away from being slighlty out of town and Marco is happy to be called to collect when needed. Everyone eats dinner at the same time which is a nice friendly touch and there is a choice for each course. The food was a delight and being offered more once we'd eaten up is something all hungry skiers appreciate!
If you're considering Cervinia then don't miss staying here instead. Valtournenche is less effected by wind than Cervinia and was open when the bigger resort was closed due to high winds.
Cant recommend this place enough. We met people who were returning for their 10th year! Says it all.
It punches well above its 2 star rating.
