The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and Marco is very knowledgeable about the local area and local skiing.

The ski resort of Valtournenche is a short drive away and perfect to beginners and intermediates. For those wanting a bit more of a challenge you can drive another ten minutes to Cervinia or even ski over into Zermatt.

The food on the slopes was also fabulous and not as expensive as in some other ski resorts.

If your looking for a real taste of Italy then Punta Cian is your place.

They have always treated us as friends of the family, providing an excellent welcome, good... read more straight forward food, excellent comfortable accommodation, and anything we needed to make our trip complete. And now they even have a minibus to take you to the Valtournenche lift (5mins), so you don't need a car or the service bus.
If you want an excellent value for money, chilled out skiing holiday and you want to rest in the evenings rather than party, this is the place for you. You can ski from Vatournenche, where lift queues are rare and pistes uncrowded, all the way to Zermatt and back (providing you get up early enough in the morning!!)

It is a family run hotel, small and not... read more too flash, eg no spa but it has all the charm of a family home. Marco will do anything he can to help and his parents are always around to assist. His mother is the chef and his dad, Guido, the Bar tender and Tina is the waitress. The food is great, not fancy minimalism but heart warming after a days skiing.
The hotel is about 1.5 km from the valtournenche lift, which connects to Cervinia and Zermatt. Lots of runs in total. We had a hire car and drove right to the lift, where there is free parking. However Marco will drop you up there whenever you want and pick you up.
They are so kind, and the family really do make you feel welcome. Go you will not regret it.
